Ukulele Gretsch G9100 L Soprano Long Neck Mahogany
Do you like the sound of soprano ukulele but the short scale is messing up? The G9100-L Soprano Long-Neck ukulele is the solution you're looking for. It has a 15 "scale and a mahogany neck with neck size of ukulele concert and 16 frets, which joins the body in the 14th fret.
The Gretsch G9100 L soprano ukulele has a longer neck for more skilled performers to shine across the scale.
Designed for musicians who need to have all the notes at their fingertips, the Gretsch G9100 L soprano ukulele was designed with a larger, concert-sized fretboard for greater precision.
The Gretsch G9100 L soprano ukulele is completely constructed of mahogany wood, protected with an open, semi-shiny pore finish. The decor is discreet and minimal, with a contrasting rosette in concentric rings. The dark tint gives this instrument a vintage style, maintaining the natural patterns and tones of the wood.
Gretsch applied rosewood in the manufacture of the 16 fret fretboard same wood of the bridge, widely used in the manufacture of acoustic musical instruments for their tonal and resonant qualities.
The strings were also handpicked: Gretsch decided to use the Aquila® Nylgut® Soprano to ensure excellent sound, making the G9100 L an easy and comfortable ukulele to play, with a strong, high-definition sound.
The neck has a U-shaped profile, facilitating hand placement and quick movements to play the ukulele virtuously, which joins the body on the 14th fret. At the top, it presents a head bearing the Gretsch vintage logo and the date of its foundation, in homage to the history and longevity of the American brand. On the head are also the classic chimes, opened at the rear.
Gretsch was born in 1883, in a small music store in Brooklyn, opened by a young German emigrant named Friedrich Gretsch, who mainly sold banjos, mandolins and percussion instruments. Nowadays, it is one of the most respected instrument brands in the music industry, being the favorite of some of the most influential musicians in recent decades.
The Gretsch Roots Collection series retrieves timeless instrument designs that capture the voices and sounds of past generations. Inspired by tradition, the Gretsch Roots Collection celebrates its deep musical roots through high-quality instruments, representative of more than a century of music.
The Gretsch G9100 L soprano ukulele includes an original pouch, so you can safely carry or store it.
This model brings the Gretsch tradition to the present, in an instrument of great beauty, sound quality and musical potential, for advanced musicians or who want to go further.
