The Fender PR-180E resonator guitar is part of Fender's Paramount Bluegrass Series, a very affordable range of instruments dedicated to traditional American music.
This model immediately stands out for the resonator system based on the Dobro patent, with a metallic resonance cone installed in the mahogany body, from the top to the back and sides. The neck is also in mahogany and the fretboard is in walnut.
The look is vintage, thanks to the shade of the wood in an aged cognac tone gradient, complemented by the pelmet in white, also aged. It plays and feels like a modern instrument but has all the personality of the original instruments from the early 20th century.
