The Artimúsica GPBASECCAD is a fado guitar from Coimbra, with all the traditional characteristics of this instrument: the teardrop volute, the pear body shape, the fan chimes and the tuning in A G D A G C, from the highest strings for the most serious. This particular model has smaller dimensions: it is a cadet model, ¾ the size of a standard model.

But the sound is practically the same as that of a normal size. Able to fill a room or the square of the Sé de Coimbra with its nostalgic tones, and to cut perfectly through the other instruments in the streets of the tunas. And, as it is smaller, it does not take up much space and can be transported comfortably for longer.

Made of solid wood for greater durability, the top is in linden and the bottom and sides are in acacia, which give it a clear tone in appearance and sound. The neck is in mahogany, very resistant, and the fingerboard is in panga panga. The finish is matte, very discreet, like the simple decoration of this model. All the experience and knowledge of Artimúsica's artisans was applied to the construction of this model, which remains true to the tradition and original sound of the Coimbra guitar.
