The Portuguese fado guitar from Coimbra Artimúsica GPBASEC is a great option for those who are starting to serenade, but not only. It is an instrument with a very affordable price, without sacrificing quality.
Artimúsica GPBASEC presents all the traditional characteristics of Coimbra fado guitars: the teardrop scroll, the pear body shape, the fan chimes and the tuning in A Sol Ré Lá Sol Có, from the highest to the lowest strings. .
The sound is capable of filling either a room or the square of the Sé de Coimbra, as well as reaching the windows of the girls to whom serenades are dedicated, making itself perfectly heard among the other instruments in the streets of the tunas.
Artimúsica GPBASEC is made with solid woods for greater durability. The top is in solid linden and the back and sides are in solid acacia, which give it a clear tone in appearance and sound.
The neck is in mahogany, very resistant, and the fingerboard is in panga panga. The matte finish is very discreet, as is the simple decoration of this model. All the experience and knowledge of Artimúsica's artisans was applied in the construction of this model, which remains faithful to the tradition and original sound of the Coimbra guitar.
