Jazz Manouche Guitar APC JM200MPL Selmer Spruce Maple

Made in Portugal, this acoustic guitar follows the specifications of Selmer guitars manufactured from the 30s to the 50s of the last century and which were used by this pioneer of jazz manouche.

The APC JM200MPL stands out for its shape, designed with the typical curves of this type of guitar and with the oval mouth, distinctive of guitars for soloists. The D-shaped mouth, being larger, is typical of rhythm guitars.

No detail was left to chance in the construction of this guitar. The choice of woods took into account the specific sound of this musical genre and the type of materials chosen for the original models.

The top is in solid maple and the bottom and sides in laminated maple. The neck is made of mahogany and the fingerboard is made of black African wood, very resistant and perfect for playing soil at the speed of light, along its 21 frets.

The strings are attached to a nickel-plated bridge characteristic of these guitars, fixed to the bottom of the body, and rest on a long traditional mustache-shaped easel, which spreads vibrations across the top, giving its characteristic sound.
