The Fender CB-60SCE is a four-string electroacoustic bass, with a concert-shaped body, for greater volume and depth. The bottom and sides are in laminated mahogany wood that help to produce smooth and well-defined bass.
The top is made of solid spruce, a very resistant wood, which offers brightness and dynamics to the sound of the CB-60SCE, whether playing with a reed or touching with your fingers. It is supported by crossbars in X for greater strength and stability of the structure.
Following the same design as the guitars in this series, the neck of the Fender CB-60SCE is very comfortable, with a modern profile and rounded edges, to be easier to play, without sacrificing sound and technique, in a very satisfying experience for both beginners, or for more experienced musicians.
If you choose to connect it to an amplifier, the Fishman preamp perfectly captures its natural, rich and deep sound. With simple controls, you can adjust the frequencies to your taste and need. What it says in the description! I must say I am new to playing bass and this guitar came recommended as one of the best acoustic bases. I can happily say that if you are playing along with acoustic guitars and flutes it adds the magic of any plugged in base. And if you want you can plug it in and it works just as well with electric instruments :)
