The secret of the Streamliner's sound is twofold: the Broad'Tron™ BT-2S humbucking pickup and the central spruce block. Designed specifically for the Streamliner series, the Broad'Tron BT-2S high power pickup generates an enhanced definition with a stiffer bass response to produce sturdy basses, flawless treble and guttural midtones.

The light spruce central block runs the entire length of the body, reinforcing the top, while eliminating unwanted feedback with increasing volume. The Streamliner's sound power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control layout - neck and bridge pickup volume controls, master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching.

A 12" laurel fretboarde with elegant Pearloid Big Block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets covers the nato neck with white binding with a thin U-shaped profile - ideal for playing chords or riffs. Add brilliance and expression when using the Bigsby patented B70 vibrato, while the Adjusto-Matic ™ bridge ensures outstanding pitch stability and precise, non-slipping tuning.

All Gretsch's attractive classic styling is featured here on this guitar- vintage-style black control knobs, expanded F-shaped holes for greater acoustic projection, nickel-plated hardware, black pickguard and arched laminated edge construction.

It's almost impossible to let go of this guitar from grabbing it and starting to play, the G2622LH has the updated sound and the classic style that has guaranteed the distinctions Gretsch has received since the beginning of rock 'n' roll.
