Clean is a clean profile, and an excellent base for the range of effects available in the Katana. The Acoustic profile serves to amplify your electroacoustics, maintaining the guitar's natural sound. The more saturated profiles are Crunch, full of attitude and grain, Lead for those who want sound definition and sustain for solos, and Brown, overloaded with power for greater presence, but tuned to cut violent riffs with precision.

The Katana KTN 50MKII has such a wide range of effects that pedals can be at home. In addition to offering five independent effect types (Booster, Mod, FX, Delay and Reverb), with three selectable variations in each, the KTN 50MKII has access via the BOSS Tone Central application to over 60 ready-to-use effects.

You'll easily find the effect you need for your style and edit it to your liking. Accessing downloaded effects is very easy using the two memory banks available on the KTN 50MKII, and selectable via the front panel or with a footswitch.

The BOSS KTN 50MKII responds to the changing demands of the modern musician. BOSS designed the KTN 50MKII with digital recording tools in mind, providing a ¼ jack input, with a pickup emulator to send the signal to a digital audio editor (DAW), or to model the sound for a PA or headphones. You can also use IR's or mic speaker emulation on the USB and phones/recording outputs, with three Air Feel settings available in BOSS Tone Studio.

The BOSS KTN 50MKII has a Power Amp input for preamps, modelers and multi-effects. It also offers three Cab Resonance options (Vintage, Modern and Deep), selectable via BOSS Tone Studio, for a range of realistic and usable sounds in any situation, so good that no one will distinguish the sound of this amp from the sound of traditional models in a mix.
