The Petrof P159 Bora from the Standard Series is a Baby Grand with a classic style and great sound quality
The Petrof P159 Bora Standard Series piano is an instrument that transcends its Baby Grand dimensions to assert itself as a grand piano for great pianists and beyond.
Built with the best materials, the P159 Bora Standard Series has the sound quality and musical potential that the Czech brand has accustomed us to. With a distinct melodious sound and surprisingly powerful volume, it is hard to believe that this is a 159 cm long piano.
Petrof applied the same technology and components to this small grand piano that it uses in the construction of its concert models, creating an instrument with a dimension much larger than its size suggests.
Bora series pianos produce high quality sound, with a rich timbre produced by the impeccable mechanics of Petrof pianos. All components were manufactured and assembled in Europe, with 80% of the work to be done by the hands of experienced craftsmen.
Petrof has been manufacturing pianos since 1864, exporting to more than 65 countries. All instruments are manufactured in the Czech Republic, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fully European piano. 80% of the manufacturing process is done by hand, with a careful choice of materials, which gives them an enormous quality of construction.
Petrof uses wood carefully selected and processed in its factory, to guarantee the highest quality standards. The choice of specific types of wood is the result of many years of experience, ensuring that each component is made of the most suitable material.
The iron frames of the Petrof pianos are cast in damp sand molds, a process that allows for a greater density of the metal, resulting in a much more defined sound, used only by builders who maintain artisanal techniques in the construction of their instruments.
Each piano takes about 9 months to build, and its certificate indicates the names of the artisans who participated in its manufacture, reflecting the work and dedication of each one of them in representing more than 150 years of experience.
Petrof also promotes development projects with universities and research centers to innovate its instruments. The result is high quality pianos, very popular with great pianists for their delicate and romantic tone.
The Petrof P159 Bora of the Standard Series is a piano to be used continuously and intensively at home by any serious and demanding pianist.
